Case 1: Scan a single code

1. Install our Scandit demo app from the Apple/Google Play Store
2. Open the “Any Code” mode
3. Scan the barcode

This will give you information about the symbology (e.g., EAN13/UPCA, QR code, …) and the symbol counts (if relevant). Then, check that:

1. The symbology is enabled in your code. To enable a symbology, open your platform’s section in our documentation and refer to the “Integrate the Scandit SDK into your app” documentation guide.
2. Symbol counts: some symbologies have only certain code lengths that are enabled by default (see defaults here: symbologies). To change it, open your platform’s section in our documentation and refer to the “Changing the Length of the Barcodes to Decode” documentation guide.
