Barcode Sequence Highlight Provider
Defined in package com.scandit.datacapture.barcode.sequence.ui.highlight
- BarcodeSequenceHighlightProvider
interface BarcodeSequenceHighlightProviderAdded in version 8.5.4
Used to provide custom highlights for sequenced barcodes when set on BarcodeSequenceView.highlightProvider. When no provider is set, the built-in circle highlight is used.
- highlightForSequencedBarcode(sequencedBarcode, callback)
fun highlightForSequencedBarcode(sequencedBarcode: SequencedBarcode, callback: Callback)
Added in version 8.5.4
Asks the provider for the highlight to draw for the given sequenced barcode. If null is provided, no highlight is shown for that barcode, and the barcode cannot be tapped to open the add/remove popover. Asked once per barcode per provider — replacing the provider asks again for every tracked barcode.
This method is called on the main thread, and callback::onHighlight may be invoked on any thread.
- Callback
interface CallbackAdded in version 8.5.4
The callback used in BarcodeSequenceHighlightProvider.highlightForSequencedBarcode() to provide a highlight asynchronously.
- onHighlight(highlight)
fun onHighlight(highlight: BarcodeSequenceHighlight?)
Added in version 8.5.4
Function to notify the BarcodeSequenceHighlightProvider of the desired highlight for the provided sequenced barcode. Can be called from any thread, and from inside BarcodeSequenceHighlightProvider.highlightForSequencedBarcode() or later.
